We had the pleasure of playing two very special places over the weekend. We discovered Teplice’s Bozak club during our winter tour with Z Ničeho Nic, and we had such a nice audience that we had to return to this cool venue in the basement of a 20-storey building in the middle of a housing estate. This time we played with a celtic punk band singing in Czech (The Curlies) and our gig turned out about as good as the first one. We thought that last time everyone in the Teplice punk scene bought at least one of our CDs or T-shirts, but apparently the already extremely high percentage of per capita Bankrupt merch could be raised further.
As you may have noticed already, our website has got a new design and looks better than ever. That’s because the new EP is just around the corner. Now you only have to wait a couple of more weeks and you can listen to it as we’ll make it freely downloadable. Its title will be Rewound, and it will feature a cool surf rock intro plus 3 catchy-as-hell smash hits.
Next week we’ll play two gigs, on Friday we’ll return to the amazing Bozak club in Teplice, and on Saturday we’ll play White Trash Fast Food in Berlin, as part of the Berlin Music Week. And we already have a gig in Budapest scheduled for December with our old buddies The Joystix plus the Deleeders from Italy.
It would be cool to play a couple of more gigs in Oct-Nov, so you know, just let us know if you want to book us.

(OK, it was a drum machine and Bob was sitting on top of it with drumsticks gaffer taped to his hands.) It was probably the most successful gig we have ever booked for a foreign band with over 200 visitors. The only problem was that Bob got stolen after the show. Continue reading →
Although we’ve been busy lately with recording new songs (it’s still ongoing), we haven’t forgotten about our duty to play festivals in the summer. This coming Saturday we’ll return to Austria to play Rock Am Berg in Berndorf (near Vienna).
