What we did this summer
The few shows we played this summer were all memorable for various reasons, so here’s a round-up of the events. We played two festivals on the first weekend of June, one in Austria, and one in Germany. We’ve already played at Reedrock in Burgenland 2 times before, it’s a nice little festival organized by local kids in cooperation with a biker club so these leather-clad big guys are the ones doing the security and the bar. We weren’t exactly lucky with the last slot in the line-up as there was a significant delay in the program, but it was still a nice warm-up party for Munich the next day. Continue reading
Bankrupt in the Czech regional news
The Steamroller interview has been taken over by the Czech regional news portal Regionalní noviny. Jan is doing a great job at conducting our Czech media campaign. By the time we play there with Z Ničeho Nic, we’ll be famous. Well, at least almost famous.
Add our punk rock hits to your YouTube videos!
Have you noticed the AudioSwap tab on YouTube, when editing your newly uploaded video? If you search for Bankrupt here, you can add one of our punk rock hits to your video with two clicks. (It takes a few minutes though until the change takes effect.) Paid Downloads: DIY, Bandcamp and iTunes
This post could be useful for bands and people buying music online. We accept that the majority of Internet users is unable or not willing to pay for mp3 downloads, that’s why we offer free downloads as well. But why would anyone buy downloads then? Number one: paid downloads are better quality, number two: you support the band.
We’ve been experimenting with selling music online for a few years now, and out of the zillion online stores there was only 2 where we could actually sell stuff: Bandcamp and the iTunes store. But before I compare these, let me start with the best option: DIY. Continue reading
