We have created a band page on Google Plus, you can also check it out and add us to your circles via the slick Google Plus slider button at the top of the icon set on the right side of our website.
But why another social network? We think Google Plus could take off if Google can pull off YouTube integration in a smart way, and if Facebook screws things up with desperate measures to stop its stock price from hitting new lows. Facebook Timeline for pages: no landing tabs from 30 March
On 30 March all Facebook pages will be automatically converted to the new Timeline design. As a result, default landing pages, like the one we’re using to let new fans download the Rewound EP for free, will be gone. We still have to figure out how to rearrange the page, as the change will be a lot more radical than last year’s Facebook page upgrade, but the free download will still be available here on the website.
Of course, not everyone likes Timeline, but there is no way to disable or remove Timeline once you’ve upgraded. (And you’ll be forced to do so soon.) There is a workaround though, in case you want to view Timeline pages with the old design. The FB Purity plugin offers to disguise your browser as IE7, so that Facebook pages will fall back to the old design. But it’s not likely that this hack will continue to work for very long, so better get used to Timeline soon!
How to get a million views on YouTube
While it’s quite difficult to get even a couple of thousand views on YouTube for our own music videos, there are videos with hundreds of thousands views across YouTube that use our music. So why on Earth would a video about body building in Brazil would get over one and a half million views? We have absolutely no idea, but Farewell To The Cretins by Bankrupt was a good choice for background music. (No offense meant to the guys in the video.)
