Czech tour diary part 3 – Teplice

We spent most of Saturday on Pepa’s ranch. Pepa is the bass player of Z Ničeho Nic and he lives on a hill in the forest outside Strakonice. (A Czech guy with a beard who lives in the woods, sounds like Rumcajs, doesn’t it?) We got to taste his magic anti-hangover soup and some real cowboy chili. This guy knows how to live, he’s our hero.

Then we set out for Teplice, the last stop of our terrific trip. To be honest, we didn’t expect that it could get any better after Strakonice, but it did. Bozak is a venue in the basement of a 20-storey building in the middle of a housing estate. It’s a real punk rock venue run by kids, and it has an audience that is interested in checking out lesser known bands like us, having fun at their show and buying all their merch.
If it was that simple with all venues, all this band life would be so much easier. Girls and boys of Teplice, now that you’ve bought all our T-shirts, we’ve gotta give you a chance to wear them, so we’ll definitely return soon! (For photos, check out this gallery.)
So that was our Czech winter mini tour with Z Ničeho Nic in a nutshell. Thanks again to all the cool people in the photo below!
